Is it ironic that HAL's Pokemon spinoffs are among the most beloved spinoffs in the entire series? They put so much fucking soul into their Pokemon games. Iwata saved GSC and put the incompetent GF in their place by compressing Kanto. HAL developed Star Allies, which released 3 separate DLC packs and new characters/modes at no additional cost. I wish Game Freak were like HAL.

The man would be devstated seeing the state of the gaming industry in 2020.

We reached the point where old Nintendo tech demos coud be considered better, more complete games than the full fledged titles gamefreak released in the past years.

Anon, Luigi's Mansion 1 has yet to be dethroned as the best one, and that was a tech demo back in the day.
