Unlike some of you, I don't have Stockholm syndrome, I wouldn't be playing the games still if they weren't fun. That said, I'm not fond of any gen after 5, and honestly I wouldn't blame someone for puting the cut off at 4 or 3 or even 2, it's personal preference. I don't waste time on """Competitive""" pokemon, and I don't shiny hunt or any of that shit, I play the games when I want something nice and relaxing to play for a couple weeks and then I move on with my life, maybe coming back for post game every now and then if it's good
Truth be told, you guys probably should try to do the same if you feel miserable with the franchise, it's an addiction for some of you I'm sure
