No one boycotted Nintendo over partnering with them last year. There was no mass outrage and deleted accounts for Path or Exile when the developers were fully bought by Tencent.

It already was banned. In fact I don't even think SwSh is available on the Tencent Switch, even if it's not technically banned.

Tencent has to approve every single Switch game that releases in China and they're very picky(it literally launched with one game). This is most likely an attempt to gain their approval so they can sell the mainline games on the Tencent Switch.
