Nobody "got" the DLC's, they had to pay money for them.

Also, resources spent on phone games could be spent on actual games, which desperately need more time, money and attention.

Provided this isn't bait, I'm more mad about TPC working with tencent than I am about the reveal of an official pokemon MOBA. And while yes we knew for a while TPC and tencent were working together, I was willing to withhold judgment till I saw the product. Now that I see the product, I can say it's disappointing that TPC sold out to the CCP for this trash.

It was bound to happen. Pokemon is a global business that has been pandering to China for years now. Remember, they added Simplified + non Chinese languages to the games around Gen 6 or 7. They definitely always wanted their market, same thing with the movie industry and their willingness to censor 'offensive' things to burrow their way into the Chinese market.
