Aren't you tired of being a Pokemon fan? Or do you genuinely enjoy each new installment? If you do, don't you think it could be better considering it's the biggest ip in the world?

Would I love a big MMO (or MMO like) game with an expanded world as big as the one in the anime? Of course I would. But I'm not that disappointed it won't happen

I still love the designs, the lore and the competitive aspect, which is what keeps bringing me back. I do acknowledge that the quality of the games is not up to par with others.

That's funny. As someone who genuinely enjoyed Sword/Shield for what they were (I went in well after it was released knowing of all of its faults) Sword/Shield is bad because it continues the trend of mistakes established by previous games. Is silly that you've somehow managed to ignore that anon.

I don't make like /vp/ and reddit who makes their daily routine of crying over something they didn't like. The pokémon community has been nothing but a bunch of crybabies for one year now, it's pathetic.

I'm tired of the direction Pokémon is going in. It's clear to me that the zenith was reached a while ago. It's one of those things where "more" isn't always better. Just because the old gens don't have like 70 or so shittily designed new Pokémon doesn't mean they don't have vastly better gameplay experiences, theming, aesthetic design, postgame, multiplayer, etc. etc. etc. I got a competitive team in gen 6 and 7, refused to buy 8.

So this is where I will remain. This is the happiest I can get with Pokémon now, and that's fine.

I'm happy to focus on the old games I like and ignore everything else. If they release a game I want I'll happily come back. Otherwise I'm happy to never play a new pokemon game.

Sorta I still like a lot of what pokemon has to offer and a new mon I like every gen. But I cant say I've enjoyed a game as much as I have when I was younger. I started with Silver and played every gen up till 5 on realese. But I still haven't actually finished XY or sun and moon.
