I know pokemon professors don't do much aside from maybe Kukui but she's by far the most forgettable professor yet.

Probably because she has almost no role in the game and Sonia does most of her work for her. The most forgettable professors that are actually supposed to be the main professors in their game is Elm since he gets overshadowed by Oak.
