Did you guys see the 11 min Pokemon Presents video is now trending #3 on Youtube? Probably for the wrong reasons, since comments are pointing out they've been removing dislikes and stuffing likes.
It's currently at 78K / 130K but apparently it was at like 155K+ dislikes before.

No. Apparently they have to reupload everything with UK tags per some weird rating law, and as a result they always upload the same trailer twice. They've been doing this for a long time, it has nothing to do with burying dislikes.

For whatever reason youtube cant handle a massive influx of dislikes and ends up LOOKING like they were deleted but in reality its just having issues processing so many dislikes in a short amount of time. Same thing happened with their Youtube Rewind video.

It makes no sense, why would it go to 170k dislikes, and then back down to 120k? While the likes are going in the opposite direction, from like 30k to almost 80k?
Also, you are not even considering that the amount of data that needs to be processed for a 100k of likes is almost nothing, all it has to do is update the data table for a single video. And since the data table is being updated, it could possibly take longer for changes to take effect, but not for them to back down.

Caches. They have the same data on multiple servers in different locations. Even if it's a small amount of data, it's just one of millions that have to be synchronized, so it gets put in a queue. Depending on which server you access, you'll get different numbers until it eventually sorts it out.
