Our boy is going to get some kind of merged forme or ability buff in the Crown Tundra, right? They wouldn't make two new Regis, both of which have lore clearly referencing Regigigas, without showing the most neglected legendary some love...

They don't have time to add it to the game, so Gen 9 will give you a free Regigigas with a new form, similar to how they threw Zygarde's new form into gen 7.

Pokemon site. Regigigas, just like how it created the first three, manually pieced together Regieleki and Regidrago, and the lore kind of hints that they were meant to be stronger than the first three, but Regigigas ran out of materials.

The fact that they only introduced two new regis (instead of a new trio) suggests that a new Regigigas form would require all 5 of them to be in your party alongside Regigigas to activate it. So your team will already be gimped if you try to use it since Regice and Regirock are shit.

Gengar had levitate replaced by cursed body in gen 7 but Regigigas will maintain that crappy slow start ability. I understand that Gengar was nerfed but Regigigas should be buffed with pressure or clear body like other legendary pokemon.
