They'd have a better chance trying to make a competitive scene from the mainline games. There's nothing else like it in the esports scene as far as I know, and there's not one but TWO already existing communities based around these games. If TPC bothered to dedicate resources to balancing and actually advertising/broadcasting events, it could really explode into something unique.
But naw, let's just get some chinks to shit out a league clone instead.
