Usually what I do to check if it's worth the miss chance is calculate the raw average damage, multiplying the BP with the miss chance, i'll consider double and single hits as misses for simplicity.
Icicle Crash: 85*0.9= 76.5
Triple Axel: 120*0.73= 87.6
