In all fairness, that might get fixed. The first Isle of Armor footage had that one bridge near the Dojo bugging horribly with a random piece of it just fucking floating near it, and in the final game, it is fixed plus has better textures than it had in the preview.

Actually, that entire room looks entirely ripped from Platinum, including the dots on the floor made to match Registeel's face. The room is hardly a puzzle at all. It's just a room with a half-dozen or so buttons you need to press.
