I choose Dawn (May is my #2 overall), but admiteddly a lot of it has to do with Dawns series being objectively better than Mays series (DP > AG), and also Dawn having more active screentime and plenty of focus outside contests
if May had those things they could probably be sharing my #1 spot
their meeting in DP was the best cameo in the whole franchise so far
