I was born at the perfect time to experience Pokemon when it first dropped, and lived through the initial burst of Pokemania when it was running wild. As a true Pokemaniac I played Red, Blue, Yellow, the TCG sim for GBC, Silver, and Crystal. After that I dropped off the series until I was going to be laid up in the hospital, so I bought HeartGold and Platinum to play while waiting to be released. Lately I've been feeling an urge to journey back into the Pokemon world, but I don't know where to start as opinions seem divided over which games are good and which games are total shit. Tell me which ones to consume.
