Transister is something that conducts electricity so maybe something like pixilate. But since that already exists idk, maybe something like every damaging attack it does has a chance to paralyse regardless of the move used. That'd be super cool

I began wondering if it might interact with Electric Terrain in some way, but I also think that the ability will have a similar or equivalent function to the Dragon's Maw thing the other one has, and there's no Dragon Terrain (not that there really could be, conceptually speaking) so I suppose not.

Reviewing the official site's previews of them, both the new Regis have sections talking about how they have stronger moves of their type. Both abilities could be a basic, boring but practical "X-type moves are Y% stronger".

Regis aren't forgettable and by no means shitmons either. They will have high offensive stats and they will serve as nukes.
Now that I think about it I'm pretty sure they will be slow frail mixed attackers in order to not make them OP, their entries on the Pokemon site supports this theory.

Let's say Regieleki is slow frail mixed attacker, you yourself said you wanted it to be viable and slow frail mixed attackers I'd assume in your eyes aren't viable in VGC. In single battles you literally can run anything, even meme sets, you could land some victories with them, doesn't matter what Regieleki's stats spreads are.
