Regardless, even Indeedee can cripple Tyranitar by tricking its Choice Specs, and Alakazam just ravages it, to say nothing of Hawlucha which you will find somewhat often as a partner. The problem of Tyranitar against Psychic spam is that previously it could punish a choice locked Tapu Lele, and if it was Mega it had the bulk to shrug off an hit from Mega Alakazam, now even if it is a better check to Indeedee it can't do shit to prevent it from switching out and can't take on Alakazam anymore.
