Not trying to be all "that's deep" but even other here it seems like we have a lot of bug themed superheroes. Antman, the Wasp, Blue Beetle, Spiderman (not technically a bug, but close enough).

Only makes sense for Bug to resist Dark in that case.
I'd consider Kamen Rider Bug/Fighting if he was a Pokemon, so just the Fighting part covers him beating Dark.
Also thats an oddly specific reference then and too stupid to base an entire type weakness on

Dark is literally EVIL type, as in devils and demons. Ghosts are just dead people/pokemon, spirits that the demonic would collect and torture.

Some animals eat soil to nullify poisons i think. And psychic because a smart persona can make an antidote or a smart person wont intoxicate their bodies woth drugs, booze or cigarettes

You can't "poison the mind", ground is because as far as I am aware dirt can be used to nullify and/or absorb some poisonous and corrosive materials.
