Kinda. When it comes to mystery stories and twist villains, I usually jump to conclusions at the start for a running gag. When Dusknoir first showed up I said to myself "Yeah, he's TOTALLY the bad guy" and ended up being correct.

I remember that in the scene on the beach wuth the smirk I imagined Dusknoir belly smiling because he doesn't actually have a mouth on his head.And I found it weird for them to not see it.
I honestly didn't except him to grab us into the future but him being evil was obvious.

Before I'd even played this game, a friend of mine larped it with me when I was around 11 years old so I knew that Grovyle was actually the good guy. I played PMD a few years later, knowing full well that Dusknoir was the villain, and I still got fooled. Yes, I am autistic.
