I like the idea, but this map has too many cities, many of which are pretty boring or lack identity. Savannah, Memphis, Miami, and New Orleans are pretty solid choices, but Columbia? Jacksonville?
Also coming up with a region name and destinations but not renaming the cities is pretty cringe.

Would love a scandanavia region could you imagine the regionals and Norsemytholgy pokemon also Iceland and Greenland could be good dlc/postgame maps
Also electric/ice/steel/fighting should be their elite 4 if they'd go back to that root

Got an idea, could borderline fanfic but eh, this is the thread for wishful thinking

Okay so lets take an already existing island theme again but this time revolve the entire plot around how small this new said island is, like for example
>new gen takes place in Puerto Rico inspired island
>plot is that a very wealthy and influential company colonized this island many years ago and has made it a dumping place to leave a fuck ton of pokemon on there with the excuse of being a rescue haven for over populated pokemon species
>the original indigenous people of the island are not happy about this, and have actively fought against the use of their home as some trashpit for unwanted pokemon. Along with increasing pop., these pokemon are also very invasive and hazardous towards the island's ecosystem and its own indigenous pokemon.
>focus is overpopulation and colonialism, and thus a large group of isolationist islanders form team CULL, with their soul purpose being to reclaim their island and to deal with the overflux of these pokemon who are seen as vermin.
>new professor of this gen is a younger woman who happens to be the daughter of the leader of this team. Very timid and often times frightened whilst also having an estranged relationship with her father due to his disdain for pokemon in general.
>leader of team CULL despises pokemon in general, whether refering to the pokemon who original existed or the new ones being dumped into his home island. He is super nationalistic and would rather eradicate all "vermin" from his home, actively destroying many pokemon habitats and foiling the company who colonized this land's plans for reintroducing even more pokemon.
>Your mother actively follows you on your journey throughout the island by sometimes appearing out of nowhere, always helping you by nurturing your pokemon or aiding you in pokemon fights whilst also having a mysterious air to her. She is eventually revealed to the the champion you have to fight.
