I don't miss them at all because I don't have Sw/Sh so they never left for me. I wanna get back into playing a bit too so I started a new game in Platinum and recently caught one earlier.

No. There should be a new cave mon each gen. It should be a staple like regional birds and rodents. Because every region has caves and/or dungeons. I think everyone appreciates a Dunceparce, Whismir, Roggenrola, Woobat or Noibat type monster added each gen. Because I can’t imagine caves without them now. Zubats... yikes. Extremely stale

I get that including all of the pokemon is hard, but including only half of the existing ones feels woefully inadequate. Especially for what is probably going to be a flag-ship title for a few years. The Switch is a massive success, and these are the first pokemon games on that console. They should amp it up.
