So for example you join the mapchat channel if you want to get into the nitty gritty of mapping, participate in meetings, submit your own designs, etc.
But once that's all done and the group has decided on a base, they take it to the main channel with a feedback survey.
Feedback is taken, it's polished up and presented to main again for approval.
Stats and Dialogue arent brought into main for approval though, iirc. Decisions are made by those departments.
Music is done similarly to maps but without the middle steps. They're voted on in bulk, too. There hasn't been any music surveys in a while though cause music has been way ahead of the rest of the project for like 4 years
Character designs are fully handled in main though.
