Say what you will about the other, but pokemon has gone down hill hardcore design wise, the last few gens had outright terrible designs where as the other games have remained relatively consistent since inception and have made better designs.

Shut the fuck up, they had monster recruiting before pokemon was released and the monsters in these games end in joker even the final bosses
