In june 2021, we will get a reveal for two new pokemon games, which will be released december 2021.

These games are Pokemon PEE PEE and Pokemon POO POO

The game is about a human version of pokerus known as chlamydia.
The evil team is trying to infect everyone by using the box legendaries.
The legendaries are Electric/Water and Ground/Fire based.
The Electric/Water is based on urine and has another form which is based on bloody urine, whereas the Electric/Ground is based on feces and has another form based on blood in poop.

The professor is also a pokedoctor and is called Professor Ginseng, which used to be known as a "cure-all", and fits their role as a doctor.

Your rival is worried because his mother has AIDS, and he doesn't want this new disease to kill her which spurs his arc in the story.

Your main arc is that you are immune to the disease and so are the best trainer to send to combat the team

Like everyone has been thinking. The region is based on China, following the coronavirus, it makes sense that a world ending disease begins there :^)
