Everytime i see Chilli or Tiki as basis for fanmade Fire/Grass i fucking cringe. Lowest of the low-hanging fruits.

You want something cooler than that? Fireweeds, plants from Chamanerion genus. These flowers appear usualy as one of the first plants in disturbed areas, like places hit by wildfires.
Imagine a forest destroyed by fire - rather sad place, seemingly without a trace of life. Only remains of trees and alot of ash. But then you get closer to pile of ash and you notice small, flowery creature tending the ground and sowing the seeds, it notices you and because it's shy af, runs away. You know, the fucking healer of the burned forest thing.

Regional Torkoal with a new baby and evolution
Torkoal in this region live around an oasis instead of a volcano, and this prevents them from burning their entire life.
They now start as a Grass Type: Torkindle, a small tortoise whose shell is a wooden bowl filled with sticks
When leveled up while burned, Torkindle evolves into the Grass/Fire Torkoal, which is larger, with a darker shell that is open and burning a campfire
When Torkoal reaches a certain level near a mossy rock, it evolves into Torblaze (name WIP), even larger, Torblaze's shell is now a bonfire, and the edge looks like stone because it has been turned into charcoal by the heat. It's legs and head are still wood-like.
What do people think?

Probably a tree python. I guess the other two could be a Grass/Water sloth and a Water/Fire geyser-turtle.

Although based on your desciption it would probably end up as a Fairy type and the plant itself isn't really connected to fire itself - it has no "fire energy"

To be honest, my main concern is a Fire/Grass to get Chlorphyll, but be slow as shit: I’d believe it, considering the Pokémon they’ve given abilities like Weak Armor and Steam Engine.

I would want two abilities one for Doubles (Chlorophyll, Drought, Solar Power), but also one ability good for singles (Flash Fire or Flame Body). So basically one ability tied to the Grass sunlight side and one ability for the flaming Fire side.

In Brazil, we have a folclore creature called Curupira, which is sort of an elf. He is the protector of the forest and he has two main characteristics:
>his feet is the other way around, to confuse hunters
>his hair is made of fire
So I would make him a Fire/Grass Mythical Pokémon for a hypothetical region based on Brazil or South America.

Teraterpeton. It has absolutely nothing to do with fire or grass, and that's why it would be a perfect candidate for a Fire/Grass, because of how weird it is and it would only make sense for it to have an equally weird and nonsensical typing.

It just has to be burned when it levels up though, so you could just let it get the burn, end the battle, then feed it a rare candy. Unless you heal the burn it wouldn't just go away.
I'll admit the evolution methods didn't make much sense, I just wanted it to be something other than "reach the right level and your turtle achieves spontaneous cumbustion" I also considered making the final evo a trade or item evolution, or just straight level up without other requirments.
