I’ve always wanted a Pokemon MOBA. I wish it looked better. I wish it was on PC, I dont even perfer PC gaming but I played Arena of Valor on Switch and walked away from it with the firm opinion that MOBAs are meant for keyboard&mouse. Im curious to see if they do fancy skins or anything though. Pikachu has the costumes from ORAS but Pokes that have to evolve would need something for all three of their stages.
Im definitely trying it but Im sure I wont stick with it. The brand will carry this game, not its gameplay.

Anyone here that wants an idea of how it is going to play can play Arena of Valor by the same devs. However there are two things that makes Unite different from the rest (other than Pokémon)

>Two lanes rather than 3
This was done in Dawngate and nowhere else (counting 5vs5 maps thats it) that alone makes the game a bit different even if it is not a big change by itself.

>Picking an ultimate and the fact that you get 4 skills plus an ultimate. This means that surprising for me, learning each Pokémon skill combos will be harder than similar mobile MOBAs that for the most part only have 3 skills each. Here we got 4 skills plus an ultimate

I dont think it will be pay2win. Arena of Valor had some top tier free (or very cheap) heroes like Violet (last time i played) so i dont see why this would be different. For all the claims of this being unorginal and shit, it looks like there will be more differences to this to Mobile Legends/Arena of Valor/LoL Mobile than those 3 games will have to each other.
