SWSH OU, yes.
NatDex OU, it would fit “perfectly fine”. As fine as Mega Metagross at least.

It would essentially be a free Mega and has an amazing movepool it normally doesn’t abuse, but it’s still pretty slow for NatDex all things considered.

I think enough time has passed that giving it and Regigigas actual abilities wouldn't like, destroy the meta

They have better stat spreads than most cover legendaries and Slaking has a gigantic movepool. The only thing that genuinely holds them back aside from the abilities is the Normal type which isn't even that big of a drawback.

but a fairly modest STAB move in Return. High attack, good bulk and all the coverage in the world doesn't matter if your STAB isn't also powerful. See: Kyurem Black

Kyurem-B didn't have an Ice STAB period. Once it got Icicle Spear of all things it was enough to get it banned. Body Slam/Double Edge are godlike STABs by comparison.

That wasn't a big deal, he had Outrage and Bolt Strike. The biggest issue was not having Earthquake and needing Earth Power to hit steels.

It was Dragon Dance and Dynamax that got it banned, not Icicle Spear,
At +1 speed only a handful of mons could OHKO KB and it could dynamax to prevent that from happening. If your scarf Garchomp tried to dynamax in response, you wouldn't outspeed and get OHKO'd.

Dragon Dance yes (although Slaking also has access to good boosting moves such as Bulk Up), but Dynamax was banned long before Kyurem was released, unless you are talking about the literal fanfic Natdex meta, where regardless, after Dynamax was banned, Kyurem-B wasn't reconsidered for an unban for even one second despite the high power level of that meta.
