They where not lazy rehashes they put so much soul and effort in the game and added cool new innovative features you had 2 regions in one game got too revist and rexperienve kanto in a new way you got too walk with pokemon they took a game that already existed and made it feel like a new funner experience the game wasn't too easy and it had hella exploration and the poke Walker was a neat new concept in my personal opinion it was one of the best pokemon games

This. Gates to Infinity was trash and almost killed the MD series. Rumble U killed the Rumble series. Pokepark 2 killed the Pokepark series. Dream Radar was the first time you had to PAY for Pokémon. Best Wishes was the worst anime to date. TCG was at its worst. Only spinoff worth playing was Conquest. The only saving grace was in fact, BW and BW2. The franchise had nothing going for it otherwise and was effectively at a huge decline.

He's right, ORAS was shit. Transition from sprites to 3d was awful. While I forgive XY for being rushed to shit due to the huge leap from sprites to models and other shit, oras was pitiful and lacking.

Gen 7 was even worse and gen 8 is inexcusable

I don’t know how anyone can say Gen 5 wasn’t the worst time to be a Pokémon fan. Aside from the first games isolating you from all your bros, there were little to no spinoffs and the ones that were there were complete ass, and if you watched the anime it was ass too. The best part about Gen 5 was the lead up to Gen 6
