Even though I think Intelleon is ugly as fuck, I do like that the three 3D starter trips look so good together which is signified by their theme. They really bounced back after Gen 5

i love cinderace and appreciate rillaboom. cinderace specifically completely won me over with the GMAX. i just love this kinda shit.
i don’t think i’ll ever get used to inteleon though. it’s a mixture of expecting both something way different than a spy and expecting more out of the spy theme.

Base Cinderace is the weakest link of the 3 imo. Rillaboom and Inteleon have more solid themes and designs immediately (fucking hated Thwackey and Drizzile when leaks were happening, was glad seeing the evos redeem them) while it took the Gmax for Cinderace to really win me over. I don't care, Gainax bunny is so fucking cool.

GMAX cinderace is so fucking cool though i can’t stress that enough. love this fuckin thing.
i wish i could get behind inteleon but it’s proportions are too weird for me to even like in it “haha look its gex!” way. art of it can look pretty good though and maybe if it’s in-game idle pose was better i’d like it more

Glad to see this thread, I also love the three dearly, easily my favorite starter trio, and I'm someone that has been with the games since getting Red as a wee lad.

The way that they genuinely feel like a group of friends, and the way they cover that dynamic of Id, Ego and Superego is just neat. It is easy to imagine all three starters being friends and I hope they get to interact in the anime.
