The singleplayer campaign is short but still has a lot of good areas and the QoL changes add a lot of improvement. Despite the short length and comparative lack of singleplayer content, the game is still fun to play through.
They still fucked up in many areas (area layout, polish, the plot climax, postgame), and the wild area was rather underwhelming (although it's not as bad as people make it out to be). as a game, I'd give it a 7/10.
Although I would still not consider the games to be worth the price tag (especially with paid online + DLC + Pokemon HOME). If you want to play it, but a used copy if you can.
