The micro-transactions aren't as common as people in this thread say they are, in fact, they're all optional, and whatever there is, you can also buy it for in-game currency from other players.
Farming money is also easy, you can just re-battle all the trainers in all regions (if you have unlocked them), and you also train your Pokemon that way, so it's a win/win situation. The better way to make money I think was berry farming, but that seemed a bit boring, but I guess the boredom pays off with a better income in the end.
I'm also seeing many people mention breeding and how you lose the parents and stuff, while that is true, they don't mention that you actually see the exact stats of the egg and other details before you decide to breed them, and you can also choose the gender and other things for a small extra fee.
The economy and game balance in general are pretty fine for a MMO, I'm convinced all these retards that are screeching here are unable to understand what it takes to find balance in a MMO game.
