ITT actual good improvements:
In pokemon battles, there is a 20 second timer when you select fight to choose a move and you suffer an arbitrary speed penalty if it expires.

Then that just unfairly punishes players whose playstyle relies on speed.
People who use slow and bulky mons can take their time deciding their move.
Trick Room users can deliberately take 20 seconds to become slower.

Maybe make it scale instead and give the pokemon a very minor boost if they pick a move within 3 seconds. Trick room is also very exploitable so this idea is actually cancer lol.
