Mix and Mega is an OM (other meta) where the Pokémon can mega evolve with the stat boosts ability and even typing at some cases correlating to the mega stone. For example, if Arcanine held an Altarianite, it would gain +40 attack and special attack, and +20 defense, along with the Fairy type and Pixilate as an ability. Zamazenta used to be unable to hold a mega stone while Zacian was just banned completely.

Mix and Mega is an Other Meta where you can give any Pokemon a Mega Stone, where their Stats and abilities are adjusted based on the Stone used.

As an example, a Pokemon using Mega Mewtwo X’s Stone will get a Fighting secondary typing, an additional 80 Base Attack, 10 Base Defense and Special Defense, Steadfast as an ability, and weighs 5 kg more.

It has no impact in OU as is pretty much a different game that is allowed in showdown every once in a while.
Is a seasonal event with its own rules than you can play for fun.
Anyone can make an OM, you just need approval from a mod and people who like it to vote for it.

It's a couple people discussing a new change or development, and then 20-30 posts from some autists, (((plural))) of course, who constantly cry about 'fanfic meta' and deride others for daring to have fun, which results in the IP/post count of very low IPs with a high number of posts. Just make it so Dauntless Shield raises Def and SpDef.
And if that seems unfair to Zacian, change Zacian's stats to be the same as Zamazenta's, but switch Atk with Def, and SpA with SpD. Like this. Then Intrepid Sword can raise both attack stats.

It probably won’t last long. Legendary stats are always on thin lining when it comes to Mix and Mega, and Zamazenta’s stats and a free +1 defense from its ability can make it ridiculously powerful

Holy shit OP you have to be one of the most obnoxious fuckers I've ever seen on here. We did read the thread and we get the mechanic. It's just that even with mega evolving there's no point, and the fact that there is an actual meta that changes the rules this drastically from what the game allows. It being smogon is just the cherry on top.
