I've been memeing about Ttar dropping to UU for a while because I thought it would never actually happen, but I'm beginning to worry that he might actually drop tomorrow.

GF is annoying for cutting Pursuit. No lie, it was my favorite move in the game. Dark has a ton of diverse and unique moves which is what makes it cool. There was Knock Off, Taunt, Foul Play, Sucker Punch, Pursuit, etc.

Tyranitar will just be instantly banned the moment it drops to UU.
UUBL has no functional difference from OU, so the only difference will be Tyranitar having his 20 year streak broken.
And dropping because of a nerf is a sad way to end that streak.

Wait, am I missing something about smogon tiers? If he drops how does that effect you in any way? You can still use it in OU and it will be a monster in UU.

Why are you so certain it will be banned? UU has handled pseudos and minor legendaries just fine before (obviously not talking about shit like Articuno and Regigigas but actually usable ones). Defending TTars OU placement like some badge of honor is honestly kind of cringe.

Funny thing is Staraptor would probably be UU this gen had it been in the game considering one of Corviknight, Skarm or Celesteela will almost certainly drop to UU.
