We've had Ghost threads and we've had Dark threads. Can we have a Ghost and Dark thread?

Both types are obviously better than the rest. Both ooze style and distinct flavor that compliment each other.

Who is your favorite of each type?

What's your favorite move of each type?

I still use Trick or Treat on my dark types when I play doubles. Is there a way to solve the new weakness through some move or held item?

Dark/Poison with Levitate is the only wat to get 0 weaknesses now.

You could make them hold Roseli berries, but it seems like there may be better uses of their item slots. I wish pokemon had a consumable item slot and a permanent item slot.

This. No dual type combos grant zero weaknesses, only abilities can do that now and the only mons that have the right typing and ability to grant that currently are Eelektross and its pre-evolutions. Too bad its stats are dogshit.

I'm a dark fag. I sometimes get sick of the type because their designs are too much and pretend for a second I like the more basic types more like Water but I always return to my dark mons. My faves are Pangoro and Crawdaunt. Bisharp is also pretty nice since it kills fairies. I also like Thievul and Sharpedo, even though they are shitmons.

My favorite dark move is Darkest Lariat. I love the animation and I really like how it ignores defense boosts. Foul Play is also pretty neat for its unique damage calcs.

Ghost mons are nice too. I cannot name just one favorite, I like A-Marowak, Palossand and Golurk. My favorite Ghost move is probably Phantom Force, since I like the sneaking behind the opponent animation. I haven't used Poltergeist yet, so I'm curious about how it looks!

Poiltergeist is one of my favorite animations for ghost moves.
I agree with so much of your post. I like Ghost pokemon designs more, but I way prefer Dark type moves for the tricks they can pull.

What would a good six mon be? I think I want to keep it dark type. Maybe one who can use hex so I can make use of the willowisps beyond debuffing and then give HEX stab through trick or treat.
