>>44092901No, Smogoncuck. You're the laugh. Dynamax is a great mechanic and it isn't really "broken" at all. Dynamax lets a Pokemon kinda compound resources and take off, but honestly, tons of singles mechanics already worked that way. Your goal in a singles match is to control tempo and momentum and generally gain turns until your opponent has no recourse to prevent you from blasting through everything they have left with some kind of major threat generally. Sometimes you run some really stall strategy revolving around something like Toxapex or Quagsire in which case your goal is to outmaneuver everything that could possibly kill it until it merely being on the field is checkmate. Either way, dynamax doesn't really break this dynamic at all; it's just another layer to it.
Smogon is patently uncompetitive, but then again, I'm not so sure Smogon was ever about actual competitive gameplay in the first place. It's clear 6v6 singles isn't even designed to be a competitive format in the first place and that's what Smogon is all about. You dumbfucks mostly don't even play the real game and instead play on simulators. Vacate.
