Frak is just too good and definite MVP at this point. The Clam is dropping off and could probably do with swapping her out for Paul in the pc. Morty should really be a pushover as well.

I've had a bit of a mare on my way to Morty and may have just lost two of my team after gloating about the fact that I was having a great run in a very difficult game.
The Shrewtina one actually made me feel physically sick. Kinda saw it coming with The Clam but it still hurt. Paul is probably ready to take that spot but I kinda want to save him for later on or possibly another dray hack altogether.

Surge was a bit trickier this time. Totalizer totaled Voltorb and Pikachu, but Raichu set up like 3 Double Teams. Some how Maxsnake hit two times with dig though.

They can be a tad grindy as already said but i enjoy the difficulty of them and the spread of mons throughout the games is always pretty decent. Made my way back to Celadon and finally opened up Saffron City. Banjo and Pey'j made quick work of the Fighting Dojo; I decided to give Banjo Petal Dance even though it's risky because the sheer power it offers once I beef up with Growth.
The one last piece of preparation I'm going to do before I take on Silph Co is to head back to the Move Deleter and take Cut off Ridley and replace it with Metal Claw again, with the ultimate goal being giving him Fly once he evolves so I finally have a flier.
Beyond that, I'm all stocked up for Silph. I've got Hyper Potions, Full Heals and hopefully enough Rockets to own that I meet my level goal of 40 by the time I face Giovanni. I'm not thrilled about not having a good answer to Khangaskhan still; my best bet is probably going to be a Growth x2 Venusaur's Petal Dance, that or Yawning her with Daisy.
Wish me luck bros! Silph is going to be the first *real* test for my ruleset, I hope I can hold out.

As always Lucian gave us a lot of trouble, but we managed to get out unscathed mostly thanks to Sashay
I tried using Yekaterina to set up on Cynthia's Spiritomb, but she ended up using Embargo to cancel out my X items and withdrew Spiritomb before I could even begin to amass any kind of boosts, so the entire battle ended up being an entire back and forth mess where I had to sacrifice Yekaterina and La Vida Loca in the process to minimize our overall losses
Really fuckin sucks losing Vespiquen right before being able to champ her, I really wanted to, but I'd rather not have to do this entire goddamn game over again

Don't forget that you fight her relatively early in the game, so you won't have much of a choice for a Pokemon that can counter her, especially in a Nuzlocke.
Most players are also caught off guard because the trainers on the way to Whitney are really weak.

I only started doing them with Ultra Sun(still somewhat early, I think did that run roughly around time the game came out) so any run done before that one doesn't have art, meaning Platinum(first run), all of Gen 1, Gold and Black). I did do small edits to the sprites for Black though, I think that was made me decide to draw for the games afterwards.
I just outright skipped doing drawings for FRLG and Emerald(had a really busy time in life at the time). Ultra Sun also stands out because I didn't color the drawings for that run.
I could probably find all the champs I've actually drawn though.

Another Gym, another Maxsnake saves my ass by hitting through evasion boost episode.
With Skycargo taking care of both Koffings, Maxsnake killed Muk and crippled Weezing with a combination of Screeches and Glares, before Icknite finished it off. Having Skycargo Feather Dance Weezing can't be understated either.
Im seriously considering going for Blaine before Sabrina, but that might be too cheese of me.

Hey folks, trying to start a HGSS Nuzlocke that does away with trade evolutions; however all the roms I can find have some nonsense difficulty spike which I don't care for (Sacred Gold, Perfect Gold patches etc), or edit in-game events and locations unnecessarily (Golden edition). Any pointers?

Sad news. My first encounter in Sprout Tower was a goddamn Spinda and anyone familiar with Dray hacks know how that goes. I was lucky enough to catch it at about 60%~ because my attacks weren't doing shit. In hindsight I could've grinded but even if my team was a few levels higher it still would've 2hko'd everything. I tried to run with Totodile but its stats are too jacked. Rest in pieces Totodile and Sandshrew, I hardly knew ye.
Hope Spinda wrecks shop for a possible redemption arc later down the road. I used a Contrary one in VoltWhite and it carried early game.

After 2 failed starts a couple of weeks ago, decided to try it again. Nora died valiantly on 2nd gym, she was essential for the team to deal with the start of the game. Still don't know how everyone survived the Wattson fight, it was a mix of putting Jesse to tank and heal the other to deal with Magneton and Magnetric.

Fixed everything and just had to mention how cruel it is to flaunt both a ralts and a scyther in my face on consecutive routes after I already lost my chance for capture. Followed by taunting me with an abra on route 215, just to pour salt in the wound. Damp really came in handy against a wild graveler.

Finally time to update. Managed to clean sweep Maylene and Wake. Wake's the funnier of the two. TB put in work to oneshot Gyarados, and I made an effort to switch in to Fettuc, who tanked the crunch. Not only did ice fang miss, I landed the mega drain and crit for a nice one shot. Quagsire stood no chance afterwards.

So earlier today I made a thread poking fun at the game for throwing me the best damn Chewtle I've ever seen when I picked Sobble as my starter. Well, I decided to use them both but mostly focus on the Chewtle, and he rampaged through the first parts of the game. Update on my run. We got the Dynamo Badge with little trouble. Curious Kate set up Mud Sport while shrugging off Magnemite's Thunder Wave with a Cheri Berry. The rest of the match was just a mish-mash of Volt Switching while Bitey Benita killed everyone with Bite and Snarl.
