Baton Pass, U-Turn, Volt Switch, Parting Shot, and now Teleport all give players easy momentum that continues to get harder and harder to deal with the more power creep each generation.
One of the points of having a glass cannon is that it hits hard but is hard to get into the field.
But what’s the fucking point of that when these bullshit moves exists?
You can always bring in these Pokemon safely thanks to defensive Pokemon having access to these moves, and offensive Pokemon can ensure that what ever defensive Pokemon is coming in, that they can wall what ever fucking Pokemon you are hitting them, or send in another offensive threat for free without the chance of getting a bad double switch.
And you know what? This bullshit would be fine if it wasn’t for Defog and Heavy Duty Boots.
Oh wow, you are switching a lot? Well better punish you by setting up hazards. But Oh fucking wait, your team is filled with hazard removers and Heavy Duty Boots, on top of having immense offensive pressure to prevent those Stealth Rocks or Spikes from appearing.
So you get fucked in the ass continuously as to not sack something you may need because it’s so easy to get in unwinnable scenarios when prediction is thrown out the window for your side.
