I'm a massive Ghostfag but, aside from wanting to put my penis in Phoebe, most of the Ghost characters aren't great. Most of them just play off the same idea of Ghost being a 'scary' type but playing it off an attractive, elegant woman for cheap juxtoposition. Morty is the only one I kinda like.
If I had to pick a type with the best signature trainers I'd probably go Electric (odd considering it's one of my least favourite types for Pokemon designs). Each trainer is unique but also represents a different aspect of the type well, from its explosive power, it's technological applications and dazzling beauty.
