>>44096838So it's a runt? I'd keep it in a little dog cage full of blankets and pillows so it can be sort of comfy until it dies of internal organ failure, like most runt animals do. Nickname her Kana. Then go read Kana Little Sister on my beat up Windows XP from 2003 that miraculously still works with it (because that old beat up piece of junk computer is my only one that can still reliably run Kana Little Sister) so it knows runts still have hope. Then while my runt Gardveoir is busy looking for a doomed, possibly incestuous romance to get into such as the one from Kana, I go buy a regular healthy Gardevoir (preferably a male one) and train that one to do battle so I can defeat my rival. Help it befriend Gardevoir Kana, foster a close connection between them before my runt inevitably dies young from her runt-related health disorders. And when we battle I help it go into a bloodthirsty rage by telling it to imagine my rival's pokemon are trying to hurt Kana.
Command of a minion, even a pokemon, is simply another form of emotional manipulation. The knowledge that all things wither and die is a very powerful one, and can produce incredible results. I'm not passing an opportunity to train a powerful pokemon motivated by something as powerful as the death of a loved one. Surely he would be the most driven and determined gardevoir in the world. Kana isn't even real, just a girl on a computer screen, but she motivated me to stop being fat and get a job.
