Post Pokémon you've always wanted to use in a playthrough but just never did. Pic related. I've always wanted to use Sigilyph in a playthrough, but I just never have for one reason or another. But it seems like one would be fun to play around with.

I mean, you'd only get to use her (yes, her) in the postgame of SM, and right at the tail end of USUM if you grind for her Ultra Wormhole

God I hate how late Deino evolves. There's no game where he's readily available where you'll get a Deino up to level 64 before the post game. Or, if you do, you're so overleveled that any Pokémon can steamroll the game, so you don't even get the satisfaction of having a pseudo on your team.

I know the feeling. You could just stick with Kadabra, whose still solid, but...there's just a feeling of incompleteness whenever you can't have a Pokémon fully evolved, especially before taking on the league. Just doesn't feel right. That said, wasn't too much of a problem for me. I was the loser who had two DS's and at least two Pokémon games within the same generation (like Platinum and HGSS) to trade between.

If you want a good opportunity to use Dodrio, play RBY or FRLG. It's arguably the best non-legendary Flying type due to Drill Peck.

Everyone is saying how good of a threat sigilyph is but i use it on both B/B2 and i find it luckluster and pretty weak especially its movepool. Did everyone lied to me?

I just finished Black and my Sigilyph was an MVP. Early game it had dual screens and towards the end game it has Air Slash/Psychic/Flash Cannon/ Shadow Ball and wrecked most things with ease

I want to use all the crossevos in Platinum in a playthrough at some point. Pic related is what I had in mind for an HM slave that would still be decent outside of the role.

I tried Sigilyph a few times in BW and BW2 but always ended up removing it from my team. I would like to use a Lapras some time, but I always seem to find another Water or Ice type before it's available.

I'm using Lickilicky (or however it's spelled) in a current Normal monotype run and it's very useful. Most normal type Pokémon do have diverse movepools, but he has decent Attack and Special Attack, and access to moves like Flamethrower, Power Whip, and Surf. Quite versatile, but then again, only in the context of a run where my entire team is normal.

Lapras' best availability is in Kanto, Johto and Kalos (where one is either just given to you or a static encounter) so the next time you play through those give it a thought. I think you can also find it in B2W2, but it's a rare encounter, and SM, but only in the postgame.
I used one in LGE (a friend gave me their copy I didn't buy it) and it served me well enough.

Sigilyph is really underrated and really strong, op, definitely pick one up next time you play gen 5

Dusknoir is my favorite ghost type but trade evolutions suck ass.

I supposed you could in the future via transferring but even then, she is always lvl 60 so it'd be kinda boring. (best bug though)

Dusknoir was fun to use in Platinum when I had someone to trade with, but if you want to use a Dusknoir as soon as possible you have to carry a Duskull throughout the game where it’s nigh worthless. Or you could just capture a Dusclops after Distortion World.
I don’t remember it’s availability in other games.
