I wish /vp/ didn't ignore these games so much because even if they hate the story and theming, the mechanics feel super fresh (to each their own, maybe i'm wrong).

What'd you like more about this then Reborn if you don't mind me asking, cause the rift battles, characters, and parts where you aren't really playing turned me off to Rejuvenation a bit.
>>44098925Yeah, the game is super obsessed with Melia, the MC is a non-entity at this point, and shadow pokemon were only story relevant for the first two gyms, and even then very small, which is odd, I might've liked it more than Reborn if I had played it first, but I felt exhausted near the end of Rejuvenation.
I'm curious to see what the next episode changes old and new since the dev progress meter was updated today, and whether you like the Gen 8 games or not, the addition of new mons and items should add new options and content.
