I tried that the last time someone suggested that for one of these thread. It didn't work, because it just shat on it with Max Darkness or switched out to something that would OHKO it on the special side.

Currently trying physically defensive G-Corsola, but idk how well it'll go.

That’s kind of a counter’s job. Punish that switch by getting a free turn to set up Rocks or Scorching sand.
And blame GameFreak for creating a mechanic like Dynamax.

Zen Headbutt, Max Mindstorm/Max Lightning, or being U-Turned out to a counter. Also, if Cinderace has a +1 atk boost, it's screwed even if Cinderace doesn't have a SE coverage move. And if Pex isn't physically defensive it's fucking dead either way.

You keep using the assumption it's going to dynamax, in which case you should also give its check/counter the same assumption. In your case yes, even with life orb and at +1 for whatever reason, it has a 75% chance to survive max attack jolly cinderace's max darkness and a 25% chance to survive life orb and +1 from adamant cinderace, and will continually do so by strength sapping it down.

99% of the time it does, because with dynamax and Libero it's basically a win button. That being said if Jellicent has a 75% chance to not instantly lost it might be worth testing out.

Cindersce seems manageable, imo

I had a Togekiss to respond to a max one, had Steelspike, I Airstream, then took it out following turn with Max Flare because Steeltype and outspend at plus 1 speed.

I’ve seen others on BSS but movesets seemed predictable, the Steel one was interesting.

75% chance to survive a +1 life orb which isn’t going to happen unless it max knuckles and that doesn’t work against jellicent, in an either or situation it’s guaranteed to be 2HKO from max darkness. Good luck soldier. Don’t forget max defense and HP investment on jellicent.
