>>44105486As I said, talking Pokemon might get a pass, though again it really depends on the community and culture your in. In some cultures it wouldn't matter how smart and humanlike the Pokemon is they just won't accept it. In reality we've never had anything like a Pokemon exist, hell we've never seen other intelligent life before. So having something like an intelligent Pokemon would bring up more questions beyond if society will accept you having a relationship with them.
All I can say is I do not see society or most cultures being okay with the man or woman having a relationship with their super smart and talking Electrode. Or their Stoutland as they would be too similar to real world dogs visually.
