>>44105418I’m pretty sure most kids who played gen 1 didn’t have a Tauros or a Dragonite on their in game team. They’re both kind of hard to come by (Tauros significantly moreso) and while most kids would know Dragonite is a badass they’ve got to find, nobody I knew as a kid really had any idea of how good Tauros was cause it was just some normal type bull. You wouldn’t expect it to be an absolute beast. Everyone and their mother knew Alakazam kicked ass though so you’re spot on with that one. Kid me even thought Alakazam was the best Pokémon in the game aside from Mewtwo.
