was this ability made to nerf sableye or something? did it need a nerf from gen 3 to gen 4? doesn’t matter now because fairy killed dark/ghost’s gimmick

GF probably heard about stall at some point and didn't understand it at all and unironically thought the ability stall would be useful.

In gen 3 Sableye got Counter and if it didn’t have negative priority it would’ve been useful, but alas, it doesn’t get U-turn either, so it’s completely useless.

>Celebi (the only real revenge killer)
You don’t have to run super high defense mons to stall, and the battles rarely went over 100 turns
