Hello, /wfg/, I'm looking to complete my armor dex on Shield and would like some help.
I have: Bulbasaur, Heracross and Skrelp
Looking for: Squirtle, Pinsir and Clauncher
I can attach rare candies or trs to them but the DLC has made them less valuable, let me know if you'd like something in particular.
Also looking for touch trades to evolve my Slowpoke, Seadra, Scyther and Porygon. I have all the items for them.

Getting tired of stomping my brother with set teams and want to sweep him with a vish team since it's his favorite gen 8 mon. It has been probably 15 years since I have bred shit so the strat is just to get a ditto with a preferred nature the. Pass the nature with an everstone then just breed till your eyes fall out right? Also is strong jaw just a coin flip on breeding?

You can just use a mint to change the nature and vitamins. You can't breed the fossils, either, so you might have to get it to level 100 and hyper train for good IVs.

Not only do you have to beat the game, you also need to get to rank 4 in the battle tower to unlock the IV checker for your box, it's better to just keep playing for now.
The dlc has also made it incredibly easier to get battle-ready pokemon, but not necessary of course.

how does breeding Alolan pokemon outside of Alola work? Marowak, Exeggutor and Raichu have normal, non-alolan base forms. If I traded those would they evolve into their Aloan forms for the other person or do I have to evolve them myself before trading?

That works if the parent is holding an everstone for the ones like Sandshrew where the base form is also an Alolan variant. I would think it's the same but I don't know for certain.

Yes because cubone doesn't have an Alolan form. Your best bet is to hope that the ultra beast quest in CT will let you travel through ultra space and evolve it into a-marowak.

I'm not sure on the Dream ball but someone traded me a Dream Ball Alolan Vulpix earlier so I assumed you could, but who knows.
Beast Balls you can 100% get in gen 7 though, that's where they originated after all.

I like trading here but a lot of you guys have piss poor lists. That's why I'm gonna teach you my balltism secret. This got me 4 boxes full of Safari Ball Pokemon, most bug type and some not bug type Sport Ball Pokemon and any Apriball Pokemon I want.

All you need is GTS from Pokemon HOME(free version is good enough) and desirable breedjects.

The key is Kubfu. Everyone is putting up their breedjects for Kubfu. The truth is there's plenty out there and they're not that hard to get. This thing is pretty much GTS currency.

Use your breedjects and ask for Kubfu. Safari and Sport are the best right now but any good Apriball combo will work. I noticed it works better if the breedject is a female HA. Non-gender HA like Heavy Ball HA Magnemites are also making a killing.

Then when you get some bites, use those Kubfu to trade for what you want. Try to upgrade breedjects on the the way to get faster results.

I started with Safari Ball HA Riolu. Eventually found a Safari Ball HA Bulbasaur and been using that to farm Kubfu pretty quickly.

Hopefully this helps you guys build that list. It can also help with the living Dex to get Pokeball Magearna.
