Pretty sure it's the ??? type one from back before fairy type was a thing and curse wasn't a ghost type move yet. It was mostly there to avoid crashes when hacking but considering it had a unique sprite instead of reusing one there's a possibility it was considered as a special form for promotional distribution or a boss battle at some point.

Are you retarded? Greninja is in Home, the only reason you can't have it in gen 8 is because Greninja species isn't programmed at all (not yet, at least).
Ash-Greninja is permanently stuck in the main games and everytime you can get a normal Greninja in your game you will be able to get the Ash one, just like Zygarde and its perfect form.

Assuming they come in a pair, the Partner Pikachu and Eevee. Not necessarily because I want them, just because I either don't want or don't care about any of the others.
Ash-Greninja was a bad idea that caused him to overshadow 2 other decent starters, and I hope it doesn't come back.
