Starter is fine but I'd give something like U Turn
Zamazenta is the best one (no shit) but give it CC I instead of Play Rough
Corviknight needs Brave Bird and Iron Head. Body Press/Revenge/Power Trip and Bulk Up instead of LS and Swagger
Dubwool should be Cotton Guard, Body Slam, Zen Headbutt, and Body Press
Pincurchin feels like dead weight imo. Give him the opposite Toxel based on you gifted one's nature. His team could use special attackers
Snorlax is never a bad Mon but I personally feel he should have something else. Either way replace Hammer Arm with Body Slam

Snorlax is such a boring choice, like they need something "strong" so they pick Snorlax, just like with Kukui and Barry.

On a side note, it's a complete dick punch that Barry gets both Snorlax and Heracross in DPPt when it's nearly impossible for the player to get them.

There are some support moves that the AI can track when or when not to use them (such as status-inducing effects like Confuse Ray or Thunder Wave), but for the most part AI should only use damaging moves.

Another reason why Barry is based. Dabbing on the player with his rare, strong Pokemon.

Hau's team is unquestionably the strongest rival team. His entire team is fully competitively EV trained, which no other rival has. His entire team has hexaperfect IV's. His entire team has optimal natures and abilities. His Primarina has a Z move.

See it's shit like this that makes me question what goes through the minds of people who have only played the official games. Are there people (ie not elementary school children) who know things like how type matchups work and what the difference between physical attacks and special attacks are, yet find these kinds of battles to be difficult?

Hop in Slumbering Weald on Shield actually did beat me, but just because I was underleveled (late 50s when he's late 60s) and Zacian is a motherfucker, I didn't use Zamazenta because I wanted to actually use my own party that I had raised throughout the game, so boxed it, had no idea what to hit Zacian with because I thought it was Fighting/Steel and not Fairy/Steel since I was playing blind, and then he basically outsped and swept my entire party since it has a base 148 speed and boosted 170 attack..

Considering Zacian is only threat on his team, you could bring in almost any sweeper against his first, second, third, fourth, or fifth mon and just set up for free. Well that's what a competent player would do but the game can be beaten on autopilot so I can understand getting surprised by what amounts to a gimmick boss.

That's what I did on the rematch. After Zacian had taken out half of my team I realized I wasn't going to beat the fucker, so next time I sent in a Ninjask with Swords Dance, a focus sash, Protect and just set up on Dubwool, then swept his entire team with Cinderace.

Ultra Necrozma is awful game design. It either outspeeds and OHKOs every mon you've got (if you're going in blind) or dies in two turns to whatever gimmick strategy you used to beat it (toxstall, fear, topsy turvy, priority, illusion, etc.)
It's the exact opposite of what a boss fight should be like and I'm not at all surprised Game Freak came up with it and thought it was a good idea.

Looking at his movesets, i think they’re more supposed to like, personify his Pokemon, like with dubwool’s animations or lack thereof, it makes some sense for it to have double kick, as well as cotton guard and headbutt because of the animal it’s based off of, same for the bottom 3 Pokemon aswell, rillaboom’s first 3 moves are all hand based, corvinight has steel wing over iron head since it makes a bit more thematic sense for a metal bird to use steel wing, as well as having light screen for armour, and zamazenta using no fighting moves and instead having two biting moves
