Recommendation for Monotype run

Hi vp. I've been having a recent urge to play Pokemon. I want to mix it up and want some ideas on how to do so.

Right now I'm thinking about doing a Monotype run so I'd appreciate recommendations on what Types, Pokémon, and games to play

I'd say to pick a game first, then consider what potential requirements you'll need to complete said game, filter out typings that don't fit the requirements, and then select your typing. For an example, I'm doing a Dark Type Monotype run on Black 2, and since I'll need both Surf and Strength, I'll need a Weavile in my party for Surf, and something like Krookodile for Strength. I was originally going to do Bug, but since none of the Bug Types can learn Surf, then that means the typing isn't compatible, hence (one of) the reason(s) why I went with Dark instead
tl;dr : Get a game, consider your options, compare said options with your requirements to complete the game, and go from there

Humm, more than monotype you could try to do a theme team. Like only getting pokemons that look like dogs (houndoom, bolthund, lycanrock), or moths (volcarona, dustox, mothim, etc).
