>>44120064You could make an entire giftmon team in Yellow. Pikachu/3 starters/Lapras/fossil/Hitmon of choice/Eevee/the Magikarp from the salesman by Mt Moon, lots of options there. Throw in Snorlax as well as that's a required encounter, albeit not a gift. Platinum also has loads of really good giftmons. The starter, Porygon, Togepi, Riolu, and Eevee.
For their flaws, the Alola and Galar games barely have any gifts. USUM have the totem mons, but you still need to find the stickers to get them all. Galar just has the starter, Toxel, and the fossils, and even then only one fossil is essentially free, to get all four you'll have to use the digging duo's RNG nonsense. There are others but they're postgame or require outside influence.
