Aside from the fact that Toxtricity has a reason to learn Shift Gear, why give it this when it already has its speed doubled in Electric Terrain on top of raising its speed when hit by an Electric type move? You’re just slapping things on for no reason

Any reasons these moves could actually make sense as pulse moves? Where did this idea even come from?
Also Magmortar already learns Thunderbolt so the Shock Wave buff really doesn’t do anything

Biggest change to Unown is with the moveset, which is can learn any TM move. Level up moveset is still just Hidden Power though. Base stats remain unchanged, though potentially buff its speed just slightly, but even that I'm shakey on. Basically Unown is now a budget Mew.

Flying type is too central to Charizard's identity from all the times its done aerial battles in the movies and anime. Its would also throw off the balance of the original starter trio. I think giving it sheer force as an HA and leaving everything else alone would be enough. Actually it should get Tail Glow too. Sheer Force and Tail Glow seem fitting for a Pokemon which is so hyped up in derivative media. A lot of the dex entries state Charizard's power increases when its tail flame burns stronger.

Would make a decent core with a lot of Grass types. With its Resistances and STAB its coming in on any birds that lack Close Combat or aren't named Pelipper, and then grabbing momentum with volt switch or setting up rocks. A set with discharge/pain split/volt-switch/stealth rock would be viable IMO. Maybe t-wave over discharge if you want a more consistent way to cripple anything setting up in your face.

We've been providing many reasons why Fighting type agrees with Electivire, from the fact that it actually learns more Fighting moves than some actual Fighting types to its overall humanoid punch-monster appearance. You haven't really countered anything. The stat and ability changes are unneeded though. Just Fighting type with CC is enough.

Electivire is currently a little too shit to be non-minmaxed. Especially in modern metas. Mixed attackers are becoming less and less viable with each generation

If you want to argue that the dex entries aren't enough, that one entry is more evidence than Toxicroak, Poliwrath, all the four swords, and Passimian, all actual fighting-types with no mention of any sort of punches or kicks in their fighting style. It really isn’t
Fighting type is about fighting styles but other aspects that fit into it are themes of brute strength in some cases, honor and justice (with it being super effective against Dark) and athleticism. Electivire has none of these things

Learning a bunch of Fighting moves doesn’t mean mean its design is talored to fighting styles. Close Combat was a pretty restrictive Fighting move before it’s being handed out like hot cakes

Actually my bad, switch the small and medium changes. A small stat change like boosting its defense to 90 with low HP like it has is not gonna break much boundaries. So that would be really small almost inconsequential overall. The movepool boost is a substantial change, so that would go to medium. And the evolution/Regional Form would still be huge.

I always thought Male and Female Pyroar should've had different stats. Male being more Special orientated, Females being more Physical orientated. It reflects real life, opens up more options and justifies the female having Moxie as an ability (though it would be amazing if the male has Soul Heart as an ability)

Also, Thunderbolt isn't a signature move of any Pokemon, let alone Pikachu. Although it would be a neat concept if each Pokemon had a move they were associated with, and that move used by that Pokemon was more powerful and did additional effects. It would kinda bring back signature moves for some Pokemon in a way

I know this is about buffing pokemon, butI think Iron Fist should give more of a buff to punching moves than just 20%. Tough Claws gives a 30% boost, and it boosts more moves than Iron Fist does.

I always thought it was weird that the OG and 2 have their "own" Conversion (I know Porygon gets both, but Conversion 2 came into existence at the same time as Porygon2), but Z didn't get one of its own. It didn't have an ACTUAL signature Z-Move, but IMO Porygon-Z felt like the one Pokèmon that came the closest given the terminology

Lilligant always has growth, it just needs weather ball and earth power. Dazzling Gleam is pretty small, but nice to have & the extra Defense is solid. The type change would 100% bring her to OU.

Okay tell me anons, lets say Medicham had an ability that was this as an alternative to their base one. The whole idea being rather than bolstering its physical powers through its meditation it performs its meditation to bolster its Ki/Aura and special powers. Magical Enlightenment rather than Physical.

Learn Flash Cannon by level up (already has by TM, but MISSLE!)

LASER it has covered with both Thunder and a buffed Signal Beam (buff to 90 to match Bug Buzz, which it currently already has)
